The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, of Elizabeth Frances Gladys (nee Saunders) Wilson of Summerside, aged 88 years. Elizabeth was born in Worthing, Sussex, U.K., to her late parents Albert and Gladys (nee Cooper) Saunders. She was a War Bride, beloved wife of the late Edward Wilson and loving mother of Jeannette (Vic) Michaud, David (Nancy) and Diane (Bill) Craig. Also lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sisters Jean Deere and Pam Marsh. Besides her parents and husband, Elizabeth was predeceased by her son John and great-granddaughter May (in infancy). Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Saturday, Nov. 1, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in Victoria West People's Cemetery, Victoria West. Memorial donations in Elizabeth's memory to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
