Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 22, 2014, Mr. Wesley Eddison of Noddy Bay, in his 73rd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Winnifred; sons Dwayne (Shirley), Sheldon (Tracey), and Barry (Kelly); daughters Jackie and Tanya (David) Baker; grandchildren Marcel, Amanda, Dayna, Hayward, Stefan, Aaron, Alexander, Erin, and Ethan; great-grandchildren Victoria, Shayden, Jaxon, and Layla; brother Francis (Selma) as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Victoria, brothers Nimrod and Ambrose, sisters Mary Ann Blake, Sarah Jane Bishop, Bertha, Johanna Hillier and Blanche Hedderson. Visitation was held at the Central United Church on Thursday from where the service took place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. Interment followed in the Quirpon Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
