CORMIER, HÉLÈNE - 1931 - 2014 - Hélène Cormier, 82, wife of the Ernest T. Cormier (2005), passed away surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Dr. Gorges-L. Dumont UHC following a brief illness. Born November 21, 1931 in Robichaud, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ernestine (Roy) Dupuis.
She is survived by her three loving sons: Léo Paul Cormier and Irois (Joanne) both of Cap-Pelé and Roland (Phyllis) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; three sisters: Huberte (Gérard) Gagnon of Shediac, Rachel (late Desiré) and Elizabeth (Laurie) Richard both of Cocagne; four brothers: Normand (Amanda) Dupuis of Dieppe, Robert (Pat) Dupuis of Lynn, MASS, Alfred (Emerise) Dupuis and Gérard (Dorice) Dupuis both of Grand-Barachois; one sister in-law, Aline (late Roger) Dupuis of Grand-Barachois; six grandchildren: Samuel, Solange, Rémi, Monica, Joey and Nicholas; three great-grandchildren: Ireland, Aubrey and Damien, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters: Anna and Jeanette; two brothers: Hervé and Roger.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours are Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila Church, Cap-Pelé, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Hélène, a contribution to the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila Cemetery or to the “Petit Déjeuner de Cap-Pelé” would be appreciated.
