The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I., on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, of Margaret Ann Gallant (nee Doucette) of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Central Bedeque, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Margaret was born Clinton, P.E.I. to her late parents Emmanuel and Melvina (nee Perry) Doucette. Beloved wife of the Joseph Gallant and loving mother of Junior (Lynn), Pauline (David) Aylward, Minnie Gallant, Elmer (Sandy), Jeanette (Rejean) Rivard, Michael (Diane), Johnny (Cindy), Larry, Peter, Nancy (Johnny) Doucette. Also lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her sister Dorothy Arsenault and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Margaret was predeceased by her son William in infancy, brother Gerard and brother-in-Law Larry Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Tuesday, Nov.18, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Peter’s Church Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay. Memorial donations in Margaret’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
