The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, of Rutherford George William 'Ralph' Cornish of O'Leary, aged 70, common law spouse of Velda Arsenault. Born in Woodstock on October 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Earl and Margaret (Morrell) Cornish. Loving stepfather to Shirley Clements, Betty (Joe) Hill, Judy (Nelson) DesRoches, Jackie (Donna) Arsenault and Lorraine (Joe) Thibodeau. Dear grandfather to several step-grandchildren. Ralph is also survived by his sisters Mary (Wendell) Matchett, Alice Timmins and sisters-in-law Ursula Cornish and Margaret Cornish. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Wendell, Claude, Marvin; sisters Elsie, Jennie, Lulu and stepsons Joseph and Charles. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Thursday, Nov. 20, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be held on Friday in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Bloomfield United Church Cemetery. www.fergusonsfh.com
