SEELEY, NORA MARY - Mrs. Nora Mary (Thibault) Seeley, just short of her 96th birthday, passed away peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen, New Brunswick on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Nora was born and raised in Weymouth, NS. She was one of five children born to the late Reid and Alma (Thibodeau) Thibault. Nora was the beloved wife of Sheldon Seeley for 43 years. Along with Sheldon, Nora will be forever remembered by her son Stanley (Sybil) Smith of Utopia, NB and special nephew Nelson Ryan of Pocologan, NB, three granddaughters: Debbie (Graham) Smith, Canal, NB; Gail (Luke) Smith, Utopia, NB and Lisa (Darren) Cheney, Pennfield, NB, five great grandchildren: Rachel, Michael, Laura, Matthew and Mackenzie and six great-great grandchildren: Gavin, Simon, Ava, Olivia, Norah and Eli along with several nieces and nephews and countless other friends and family whom were Blessed to know her.
Arrangements are in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB with visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, St. George, NB on Friday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jacques LeBlanc officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, St. George Seventh Day Adventist Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
