THURBER, DOREEN MARJORIE - It is with sadness that the family of Doreen Thurber announce her death at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Thursday, November 20th, 2014 at the age of 71. Born in Fredericton, NB, on August 6th, 1943, she was the wife of the late Wayne Thurber of Burton, NB. Doreen leaves behind her sons, John (Shelly) and Shawn (Charlotte) Thurber; step-daughter, Crystal White; grandchildren, Michelle, Kristen, Michael, Jenna, Leigha, Kayla, Abby and Victoria; brothers, Kenneth, Willard, Vernon and Gerald; and sister, Mildred. In addition to her husband, Wayne, Doreen was predeceased by her parents, John and Hilda (Shields) Bartlett; son, Michael; granddaughter, Hannah; and brother, Edward.
