FOWLER, LESLIE “LES” RICHARD - The death of Leslie Fowler of Saint John occurred on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Upham on October 9, 1953, he was the son of the late Cecil and Katherine (Bennett) Fowler. Les was employed as an industrial mechanic with NB Power for nearly 40 years. He always took great pride in his family and especially treasured the times spent with his grandchildren who were his world. Les is survived by his children, Andrea Fowler, Victoria Bachiu (Jay) and Andrew Fowler; brothers, Gerald (Betty), Carl (Ann) and Stephen (Lorna); precious grandchildren, Lauren Fowler and Silas Bachiu; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Andrew. Les’ family would like to thank the entire staff of 4CN at the SJRH for the excellent care that was always provided to him. The support and concern shown towards Les and his family will never be forgotten.
