The death occurred suddenly on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 of Joseph "Andy" Adrien Gauthier of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 57 years.
Andy was born in Summerside to his late parents, Joseph and Yvonne (nee Arsenault) Gauthier.
Beloved husband of Stella (nee Deveau) Gauthier and loving father of Steven (Jessica) of Miscouche and Elizabeth (Colin) DesRoches of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Hayden, Josie, Marcus, Ellie and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Ricky Blanchard, Anne Marie (David) Doiron, Judy (Pat) Gauthier, Dianne (Terry) Gallant and Carol Ann Blanchard.
Besides his parents, Andy was predeceased by his step-father, Cyril Blanchard, sister, Betty, and parents-in-law, Joey and Helena Deveau.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Saturday, December 13, from where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place at a later date.
Donations in Andy's memory to Scales Pond/Dunk River Restoration Project would be greatly appreciated.
