HURLBURT, Coral (Janice) passed away December 10, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born January 7, 1944 she was the daughter of Ruth and the late Jesse Cann. After graduating high school in Yarmouth, Coral attended teachers college in Truro, NS and Acadia University in Wolfville. She taught school in the Annapolis Valley, and Yarmouth school systems during her entire career. She was a compassionate person having donated her services at one time to the Yarmouth branch of CNIB , was always willing to help others, and maintained her great sense of humor which was evident until the end. She is survived by her loving husband Gerald; mother Ruth, sister Jennifer Plank, Victoria, B.C. Step-daughter Tracy, Lunenburg, Aunt and Uncle Beryl and John Pitblado, Liverpool and several cousins. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. No visitation by family request. Graveside memorial service was held Sunday December 14, 2014 at 2:00pm from the Hatfield Memorial Cemetery, Kemptville Yarmouth County, Reverend Rick Warner and Pastor Joey Ring officiated.
