Eight days shy of her 100th birthday, surrounded by family, Mary 'Ruth' Herlihy passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Loving mother of Gloria Macdonald (Brian), Elwyn Herlihy (Lynn) and Iris Campbell (Wendell). Grandmother of Roseanne McCurdy (Kevin), Randall Macdonald, Angela Stewart (Kirk), Ryan Herlihy (Judy) and Jolyn Campbell (Christine). Great-grandmother of Chad Stewart, Regan Herlihy, Sheamus Herlihy and Finnegan Campbell-Sloan. Sister of Garfield (Verbena) and Claude (Edna). Predeceased by her husband Hoston Herlihy, by her parents Gordon and Margaret Ann (MacLean) Campbell and by her siblings Roy (Catherine), Beatrice (Wilbur), Eileen, Norman (Annie) and Duncan. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 2-5 p.m. Funeral Monday from Cornwall United Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
