JAILLET, ERNEST - 1928 - 2014 - Ernest Jaillet, 86, of Dixon Point, passed away at his residence, on Friday, December 26, 2014. He was married to Lorraine (Cormier) Jaillet. Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Célestin and the late Elise (Richard) Jaillet. Ernest was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43; he served in Germany for two years with the NATO Special Forces. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lorraine, his two brothers; Emile (Rachelle) of Barachois, Edmond of Kelowna, BC and several nieces and nephews. Ernest was predeceased by four sisters; Anne-Emma, Eva, Hélèna and Antoinette and seven brothers; Sylvio, Fernand, Narcisse, Norman, Clément, Oscar and Régis.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église in Bouctouche, on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 1 to 2:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Bouctouche, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 3:00pm.
