NICKERSON, Capt. Warren Samuel “Bozo”, 74, Woods Harbour, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 in the Roseway Hospital, Shelburne. Born October 30, 1940, he was the son of the late Vincent and Evelyn (Rhyno) Nickerson. Warren loved camping and hunting. He greatly enjoyed spending time in the woods. He was an avid lobster fisherman that loved his job. He is survived by his sons, Donald (Charlene), Clark’s Harbour; Ivan, Stoney Island; daughter, Sharon (Joey) Symonds, Bear Point; brother, Wordlow (Ruth Ann), Woods Harbour; and grandchildren, Devin Bateman-Nickerson, Bobbi-Jo, Jordan, Cody and Chantel. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia (Brannen); sisters, Faye Burke and Sharon Crowell. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. Memorial Service was held Sunday, December 28 from the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington with Pastor Phil Williams officiating.
