MEIER, GUENTHER P. – The death of Guenther Paul Meier of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Stella Meier, occurred on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Kennebec Manor. He was born in Germany on October 11, 1935. He immigrated to Canada at the age of eighteen, settling in Ontario where he had worked for Reimer Express until his retirement in 2003 at which time he moved to New Brunswick. He is survived by his daughter, Judith, and her family who reside in Ontario.
There will be no visiting or funeral mass. A graveside service will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965).
