Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on December 20, 2014, Gordon John Skeffington of Clarenville, formally of Amherst Cove, aged 87 years. Predeceased by parents Elijah and Phoebe Jane, sister Marjorie, brother Joseph and sister in law Myra. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, brother Rance, sister Edna (Clayton), sister in law Mildred and family and friends. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Valerie Gillam took place on December 23, 2014, from St. Nicholas Church, Amherst Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Strathie’s Funeral Home, Bonavista.
