IMBEAULT, SHARON ANNE - 1944 - 2015 - It is with the greatest sorrow that the Imbeault family announce the passing of Anne Imbeault on January 9, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L- Dumont University Hospital Centre after a long illness. Anne left us peacefully, with family and friends at her side. Born in New Glasgow Nova Scotia, Anne was the daughter of the late Richard (Dick) and Eugenia (Jennie) Dodds. She is survived by husband Ben and daughthers Lisa and Tracey. Anne was a loving wife and mother who cared deeply for those around her. She worked tirelessly, having earned her Registered Nurse qualifications in 1981 and going on to a successful career in Nursing at The Moncton Hospital, where she earned the trust and respect of the professional staff and patients alike through the many years.
Anne was a devoted Bluegrass Music fan, traveling far and wide with husband Ben to Bluegrass Music festivals and events in Canada and the US for many years. Her deep passion for this music in many ways defined her as the discerning, humorous and perceptive person she was to all who knew her.
In keeping with Anne’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. However, those wishing to leave a message of condolence for the family can do so at www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca. A private graveside service for Anne will be held in New Glasgow N.S., in due course. In our deep appreciation for the services of the Dr. Georges-L- Dumont University Hospital Centre, donations may be made to the Dr. Georges- L- Dumont Hospital Foundation in Anne's memory, or to a cause of the donor’s choice.
