Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Sunday, January 11, 2015 of Verna Watts Vesey of Charlottetown and formerly of York, age 88 years.
Beloved wife of the late H. Tom Vesey and J. Raymond Watts.
Dear mother of Marlene (Ed) Atkinson, Gary (Rae), Harold, Grant (Noella) and Bessie Watts. Gram and G.G. to Erica Dennis, Holly and Matthew Watts and great-granddaughter Avalon Dennis. Also survived by step-daughter Joan (Pete) Dellascio.
Predeceased by son-in-law Blair Jones. Sister-in-law of Pauline MacInnis and Thelma MacInnis. Predeceased by parents, John and Bessie MacInnis; sisters, Edith (Gordon) Manuel and Audrey (Andy) Gallant; brothers, Eddie (Kay), Ralph "Sparky" (Theresa and Phyllis), Clarence "Kayo" (Elda and Millie), Neil "Nipper" Lillian), John and Roy MacInnis; and step-daughter, Beulah (Lou) Court. Sister-in-law of Verna (Jack - predeceased) O'Donnell, Emily (Art - predeceased) Johnson, Marina (Don - predeceased) Pyle, Lillian (Hazen "Brad") Bradford, Elizabeth (Ian) MacArthur, Dean (Phyllis), Cecil (Joan), Noreen and Edwina Watts and Keir Ford. Also predeceased by mother-in-law and father-in-law, Myra and Harold Watts; brothers-in-law, Edison (Sadie), Nelson (Hazel) and Robert "Bobby"; sisters-in-law, Adele and Rose Watts and Erma Ford.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from the First Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Interment in York Cemetery.
