MORRISON, Beatrice Elizabeth, 90, of Montreal passed away Wed. Dec. 31, 2014 at the Institut Universitaire de Geriatrie de Montreal. Born Jan. 18, 1924 in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. Morrison (1943) and Lettea V. (Francis) Morrison (1935). At the age of 18, she ventured off to Montreal with her sister, Ruth and it was her home for nearly 73 years. Beatrice worked in the insurance business, retiring in her late 60's. She enjoyed travelling, going out to the movies and dining at the finest restaurants. For the past 25 years she was pen pals with her cousin, Tim McDonald of Halifax and she looked forward to his letters, cards and phone calls. She was predeceased by her brother Russell (1963) of Liverpool, sister Ruth (1975) of Montreal, her uncles, Sid Francis (1978) of Mount Pleasant and Harry Francis (1979) of New York City; also her dear friends Mary Lawrence (2000) of Liverpool and Pauline (Falls) Martin (2012) of Montreal. Cremation has taken place with burial in Montreal.
