Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Sunday, January 11, 2015, Catherine Day (nee Lockyer) in her 91st year. Predeceased by husband Wallace. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Wilson (Daphne) and George; two daughters: Edna (Alec) Lewis and Kerry, all of St. John's; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as other relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, January 16, from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm. Funeral service to take place at The Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Saturday January 17, at 11 am. Burial will take place at a later date. No flowers by request.
