Passed away after a courageous battle at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Mary Jamieson, aged 85 years, predeceased by her husband Alexander in 1991; infant son Gary in 1957 and daughter-in-law Dolores (nee Taylor); sisters Irene Granger, Marian Buckley and brother Michael Cantwell. Left with fond and loving memories are her six children Heather (Alexander Gillis), John (Carol Ann), Leslie (Karen Trimmer), David, Norma and Douglas (Diane). Mary also leaves nine grandchildren, Amanda, Claire, Angela, Alex, Iain, Laura, Lauren, Alexandra and Victoria; five great-grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth (Gary) Hubley, Kathleen (William) Cranford; brother William (Marianne) Cantwell as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm and on Saturday from 10 am - 12 noon, 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 1:30pm from Caul's Chapel with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Basilica Parish Restoration Fund.
