NEW GLASGOW – John Michael Leonard Dunn, 63, of New Glasgow passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by his family.
Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Leo and Marjorie June (Adams) Dunn.
Michael had been employed with the former Trenton Works, Punch and Shears Department for many years.
He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34, New Glasgow.
Michael enjoyed playing darts, playing pool and reading.
Surviving are his wife, Patty Weeks; step-son, Stephen (Angela) MacDonald, Stellarton; brothers, Patrick Dunn, Brookfield; Dennis Dunn, New Brunswick; step-grandson, Lucas Hemwood, New Glasgow; several nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by step-son, Patrick Weeks.
The family will receive visitors 10-10:50 a.m. today in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Father Peter MacDonald presiding. www.pkmacdonald.ca
