STUART, Gregory Clark, 48, of West Green Harbour, Shelburne Co. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Greg Stuart on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Sandy Point, he was the loving son of the late Irvin and Hazel (Thompson) Stuart. A fisherman all of his working life, Greg loved the ocean. He took pride in being president of the West Green Harbour Recreation Association; community was very important to him. He enjoyed life to the fullest, living with a heart full of love, courage and strength. Strangers became friends and friends became family. He became a friend of a lifetime. He is survived by his loving companion, Louisa Blades. He will be missed by his sister, Sheila (Stuart) Langille; brothers, Phillip (Paula) and Peter (Vicki). He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, James, Jenna, Jessica, Jennifer, Pete, Charlotte, Kyle, and many great nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. Memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 13, at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport with Rev. Ed Trevors officiating. Interment in New Anglican Cemetery, West Green Harbour. Donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses, West Green Harbour Recreation Association or charity of choice. Special thanks for the excellent care given by the VON, and the ICU nurses and doctors at Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
