Margaret passed away peacefully on January 23, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
She was the daughter of the late Martha (Sampson) and Donald Nicholson.
Margaret worked for 27 years at the Delta Hotel, now the Holiday Inn in Sydney.
Margaret is survived by her loving partner, Leo Levionnois; her father, Donald Nicholson; two brothers, Wayne Nicholson, Donnie Nicholson; sister, Mary Ann Nicholson (Ian Gayle), her aunts, uncles and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother, Martha Sampson; aunt Yvonne MacLellan; and her uncle Russell Sampson.
Sincere thanks to the staff at the hospital, unit 4D and to her very special friend Jackie Hines for always being there for her.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place Monday, January 26 from 12-2 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. with Fr. James Oliver officiating.
Reception to take place at the Holiday Inn following the service.
