LYONS, ROBERT
The passing of Robert Eric "Oink" Lyons, husband of Beverly Hoyt of Taymouth NB, occurred Friday, January 23, 2015 at his home.
Born on January 10, 1949 in Fredericton, he was the son of Clinton and Dorothy (West) Lyons and lived with them in Barkers Point. Oink worked for NB Trails and he enjoyed a good game of Bingo, his 4 wheeler, socializing, playing the lottery, and the odddddd Alpine.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Bert (Bev), Jocelyn, Adam (Andrea), and Paul (Kim); 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister Sally Smith (Ken); brother Jimmy (Donna); many cousins, neices and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Eric Hoyt in 2003; sister Helen and brother Richard (Leroy).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Worship Centre, 350 Rt 10 Hwy, Richibucto Rd., Fredericton with Dwight McCoy officiating. Interment will be made at a later date in Kingsley, NB.
