Anne Isabelle Lindsay

LINDSAY – Anne Isabelle
July 3, 1937 – Edmonton, AB
January 23, 2015 – Calgary, AB

Anne Isabelle Lindsay, beloved mother of Michael and Patricia Lindsay, passed away surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant battle with metastatic breast cancer.
After Anne's first battle with breast cancer she rowed for the Shortt's Lake Dragonboat team. She was the eldest active survivor paddler on the boat; a true inspiration. Anne loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family and friends. A good book, a cuddly dog and cat, life was good.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Michael and Delphine of Las Vegas, NV, daughter Patricia of Calgary, the Lindsays in Brookfield, the Lindsays in Dartmouth, the Hogans in Wellington, sister-in-law Roberta, niece Marian, her very special niece Janet Lindsay, and so many other dear friends including all her beloved Dragonboat friends.
Anne was predeceased by her loving husband Warren in July of 2012.
At the request of Anne, there will not be a memorial service. Please forward condolences through www.calgarycrematorium.com.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society at www.pads.ca.
Thank you to all those in Nova Scotia that made Mum's life better on a daily basis. A special thanks to Jane Rogers for all her kindness and help during Mum's final years in Truro. Also, Dr. Meadows-Younger, and all the staff at The Truro Veterinary Hospital.
