Maurice Turgeon

TURGEON, J.A. MAURICE
Born in January 1, 1933, passed away peacefully in the George Dumont Hospital, Moncton on January 27, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
Joined the regular forces in 1952-1972 in 1954 deployed to Korea with the infantry unit. In 1979, he worked as maintenance with the RCMP detachment in Fredericton until 1993. He retired and moved back to Campbellton. He was active with the Legion Branch 19 for 8 years as president and 2nd vice.

Survived by his children, Claude (Cindy), Claudette Swanson (Kurt), Roger, Charles (Kim), Barbara Luffman (Keith), Susan Hopkins (Corey), 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his partner Inga Anderson of Campbellton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Society.
Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton, on February 2, 2015 at 11am. Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street Campbellton, from 9:30 am until time of funeral.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
