ALBERT, PATRICK
1979 - 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Albert, during an accident that took place at La Tuque, in Quebec, last Friday, January 30th, 2015, at the ripe age of 35 years old.
Born on April 8th, 1979, Patrick was married to Christiane Comeau, with whom he had a soon to be 4-year-old boy called Maxime, whom Patrick adored with all his might. Apart from his wife and son, Patrick is also survived by his two parents, André Albert and Rose-Marie Ferguson of Paquetville, his sister, Marie-Josée (Brian L. Comeau), his goddaughter Juliette and his nephew Samuel of Tracadie, his godson Kaël of Memramcook, his parents-in-law Robert and Violette Comeau of Caraquet, his brother-in-law Gabriel of Moncton, his godparents Jean-Guy and Alexina Morais of Tracadie along with other members from both the Albert and Ferguson families along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Patrick was a driven young leader; engaged within both the business community and the voluntary organizations. He instilled his vision and continuously deployed his longing to make this a better world within the community and within various organizations such as: the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute, the John Howard Society, the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick and the prestigious Wallace McCain Institute. Patrick was a dynamic and results-oriented entrepreneur passionate about business and fully committed and dedicated to his community.
Patrick also leaves in mourning the members of his professional family, the employees of MQM Manufacturing Group Ltd. for which he assumed its stewardship as the CEO since January 2014. His motto was simple: Carpe Diem. Those who had the chance to know him on both a personal and professional level will surely attest that seizing the day and living in the now was his way of life.
Visitations and condolences will be received by Patrick’s family at the funeral home: Maison funéraire Robichaud et Fils Inc., 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila, on Monday, February 2nd, 2015 from 7pm to 9pm, on Tuesday, February 3rd, from 2pm to 4pm and at 7pm to 9pm and on Wednesday the 4th of February, from noon (12pm) to 1:30pm. The funeral service shall take place at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Saint-Joseph Church in Tracadie, at 3585, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila, on Wednesday February 4th, at 2pm.
Donations in the memory of Patrick Albert can be made to the Luc-Bourdon Foundation aimed at encouraging young leaders within the Acadian Peninsula.
