Llewellyn Riggs: 1937-2015
Passed peacefully away at home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, Llewellyn Riggs of Bay de Verde, aged 77 years. Predeceased by parents, William and Mabel Riggs; parents-in-law, John and Sarah Blundon; brothers, Joseph and William. Leaving to mourn, his wife Jennie of 51 years; daughter, Gail and son-in-law, Karl; son, Robbie; grandchildren: Jennifer (Cory) Tucker, Tyler (Katelyn), Nicole Jordan (Goulds) and Oaklei Riggs (Alberta); siblings: Florence Barrett (Henley - deceased), Newman and Grace Riggs, Sally and Bob Luedee; sisters-in-law, Joan Riggs and Nellie (Don) Morris; a large number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; an extended circle of family and friends; as well as special friend, Edward Broaders. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service took place on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde. Inurnment followed in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde. "Died as he lived, quiet and peaceful."
