It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear father, grandfather, brother and friend, George Rose, on February 10, 2015, age 73 of Bell Island. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Lillian Rose; brothers: Clarence and Harold, sister Marjorie, and loving mother of their children Diana Rose. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his five children: Paula, Glenna (Kevin), Michelle (Eric), George (Vickie) and Kyle (Loretta) as well as nine grandchildren: Troy, Kayla, Justin, Stephanie, Kevin, David, Leah, Brady, and Brody. Also leaving to mourn his brothers: Ambrose (Connie), Sammy, Eric (Margueritte), special sister Millie (Wayne), Evelyn (Ray) also a large circle of family and friends. A special Thank You to the Drs, Nurses and staff of St. Clare's Hospital and the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital for their care and compassion. As well a very special Thank You to the staff of Pendergast Funeral Home for their care and support. Resting at Pendergast Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, February 13th from 12-9 pm, with special rosary at 8 pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 14th, 2015 at 2 pm from the Church of St. Cyprian and St. Mary, Bell Island. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation can be made to a charity of ones choice.
