It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carmelita Greene announce her passing on February 19, 2015, at the Western Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Mary Anne (Bernard),Benoits Cove, Margaret (Arthur), Frenchman's Cove, Gertrude, Calgary, Kay (Calvin), McIvers, Doreen (Ken), Frenchman's Cove, Gary, Halfway Point, Jean, Edmonton, Len (Karen), Halfway Point, Judy, Toronto, Michael, Halfway Point, Doreen (Tracy), Benoits Cove, Jamie (Kerry), Toronto; her sister Alice Barnes (George Byrne); sister-in-law Mary Donahue; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Gertrude and James Donahue; husband Florance Greene; sons: Rodney, James and twin boys; brother Kevin Donahue; mother and father-in-law Thomas & Margaret Greene. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 23rd at 10:30 am from Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Benoits Cove with Father Don Leonard officiating, followed by the interment at the church cemetery.
