GOOBIE, DANIEL LEONARD
It is with deep sadness, the family announces the death of Daniel Leonard Goobie, age 34, of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Becky (Jarvis) Goobie, which occurred on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at his residence. He was born on September 21, 1980 in Saint John, NB, a son of Brian and Mary (Broniszewski) Goobie.

Danny worked at East Coast Moving until 2007 due to failing health with MS. He was a loving husband to Becky and a proud father to Emily. Danny loved four wheeling, Nascar and anything and everything to do with trucks and enjoyed working with his father in the moving business. Danny was proud of his dog Zoey.

Danny is survived by his wife Becky; daughter Emily at home; parents Brian and Mary Goobie of Quispamsis, NB; father in-law Brian Jarvis of Sussex, NB and mother-in-law Mary Jarvis of Quispamsis, NB; brother Cory (Meaghan) Goobie of Quispamsis, NB; brother in-laws Bradley Jarvis of Saint John, NB and Robbie (Faye) Byers of Rothesay, NB, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Monday February 23, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Robert Marsh, will be held from the Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment will take place in the Hampton Rural Cemetery in the spring.
