Allan Tredenick Matthews passed away in his 90th year, in Montreal, P.Q., on February 11, 2015, after suffering many years with dementia. Beloved husband to Claire Hodges (1927-1980); loving father to Melodee Ula; brother to Myrna (Hastings) deceased, Mary (Gibson) and Sandra (Rumfeldt). Born on February 28, 1925, in O'Leary, Prince Edward Island, Allan Tredenick was predeceased by his parents, John A. Matthews and Mary O. Matthews (Tredenick). Allan moved to NYC with the Bank of Nova Scotia then lived in Montreal for 56 years where he started a Canadian branch of Laidlaw Securities, then joined Nesbit Burns as a stockbroker. He also enjoyed golfing and curling. A private family celebration of life will follow.
