GAUTREAU, JOSEPH
Joseph "Joe Singer" Gautreau of Foyer St-Thomas St-Joseph, passed away at the Foyer St-Thomas on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the age of 92. Born on April 5, 1922 in Old Shediac Road, Memramcook, he was the son of the late Zoël Gautreau and the late Mathide Cormier.
He retired as a Correction Officer for the Department Solicitor General and he was a Veteran in the World War II.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Thérèse (Dupuis) Gautreau; three daughters, Gisèle (Francis) Arsenault Halifax, Janice (late Grady) Davis Florida, Claudette (Charles) Boudreau Gayton; four sons, Euclide (Pauline) Gautreau McGinley, Charles (Grilo) (Anne) Gautreau Malboro, Ma., Daniel Gautreau McGinley, Michel (Rose) Gautreau Vancouver B.C; three half -sisters, Irène (Paul) Dollard, Thérèse (Omer) Léger, Bertha (Eddie) LeBlanc; one half- brother, Amédeé (late Marie-Thérèse); thirteen grandchildrens, Karine, Marco, Liane, Joline, Matthew (Matt), Marc, Justin, Serge, Brigitte, Kevin, Chrissy, Janice, John; six grandchildrens, Monika, Alex, Amelia, Anabelle, Hannah, Abby and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Patricia Lorette (Henry); three brothers, Edouard, Élizé, Alban; two sisters, Adrienne LeBlanc, Maria Léger; one half-sister, Olida Gaudet; five half-brothers, Néri, Gerald, Hector, Armand, Paul.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday, March 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the St-.Thomas de Memramcook church St-Joseph on Wednesday, March 4 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the Saint Thomas de Memramcook cemetery.
