It is with immense sorrow the family announces the peaceful passing at the Health Sciences Centre on March 4, 2015, in the presence of his loving family, Michael Hanlon of O'Donnell's, age 63 years. Predeceased by his son Shawn, parents: John and Edith Hanlon (nee Butland), sister, Violet Hepditch, brothers: Walter and Harold, brothers-in-law: Rick Mash and Gabe Hickey. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 42 years Edna (nee Tobin), daughters: Janice Tobin (Sean) and Michelle Thorne (Ross), grandchildren: Matthew, Autumn, Bradley, Chiara, Brady and Brandon, sisters: Marjorie Mash, Mary Hickey, Rose Hickey (Gus), Anna (Derrick), Edith Hanlon and Suzanne Hickey (Stephen), brothers: Fergus (Alma), Bernard (Jackie), Gary and John, sister-in-law Joyce Hanlon, many nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives & friends. Resting at Enright Memorial Church, St. Joseph's, St. Mary's Bay. Visitation on Saturday from 6 - 9 pm and Sunday from 2 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:30 am from St. Joseph's Church. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, O'Donnell's.
