Passed peacefully away on March 9, 2015 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Audrey Barbara Ivany (nee Toope) of Mount Pearl, age 82. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Faith Toope; brother and sister-in-law Stuart and Jessie Toope; brother Ernest; sister-in-law Evelyn Toope; brother-in-law Bill Ivany. Leaving to mourn her husband Stirling; her children: Brian (Sheila Barnes), Barry, Bruce (Thora), Barbara, and Bernard (Cathy); her grandchildren: Tracy (Harvey) Reid, Travais Shears, Alyssa Freake and Ciara Ivany; great-grandchildren: Caleb and Briana Reid; brothers: Hedley Toope (Kathleen) and Calvin Toope (Fay Wheaton); sister Erma Dalton (Lorne Abbott); sisters: Ruby Vaters (Irvin) and Geraldine Garland (Fred); along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. As per her wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Church of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive, Mount Pearl. Private interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of 4 West, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. No flowers by request.
