CRAFT, ELSIE
It is with sadness the family of Elsie Evelyn Craft, age 83, wife of the late Robert R. Craft, of McDonald’s Point, NB, announce her death at her residence, on March 7, 2015. She was born on January 28, 1932, in Saint John, NB, a daughter of the late Harold and Nettie (Craft) Hickman.
Elsie is survived by her sons: Robert Craft and his wife Shirley of Fredericton, NB, Andrew Craft of McDonald’s Point, NB, Scott Craft of Kingston, ON, and Dan Craft and his wife Debbie of Charters Settlement, NB; daughter Heather Jackson and her husband Dwight of Dieppe, NB; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters: Barbara (George) Nixon, Norma Love, Winnifred Goguen and Charlotte Hickman; daughter-in-law Margot Craft; brothers-in-law: Perry Craft (Marilyn) and Barry Grant; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Elsie was predeceased by her brothers: Francis, Raymond, Donald, Lloyd and James; and sister Shirley Peacock.
She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visitation on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. Rob Marsh will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am, on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Interment will take place in the spring in McDonald’s Point Cemetery.
