It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear father, grandfather, brother and friend on Thursday, March 12, 2015 of Chamberlains, age 80 years. Predeceased by his parents: Edgar and Jean Fowler (nee Mahoney), brothers: Leslie and Don. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Gale Wood (Peter) and Dale Linehan (Brian) and their mother, his only granddaughter Samantha Wood, brothers: Alan and Bob and sister: Gloria Parsons (Ralph). A special Thank You to the doctors nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre and the staff at Glenbrook Lodge during his short stay. As well a very special Thank You to Sue Doyle, Social Worker at HSC for her loving support. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10 am from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail. Interment in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
