Clifford Charles 'Fitz' Fitzharris

It’s with deepest regrets to announce the sudden passing of Clifford Charles Fitzharris 'Fitz', age 58 of Wilmot, N.S. on March 18, 2015.
Fitz was born in New Waterford, son of the late Michael and Mary Fitzharris (Newman).
Fitz is survived by wife, Laura (Willett); son, Ryan; stepchildren, Amanda and Branden and grandchildren, Jonathan, Samantha, Connor and James; also adopted brother, Joe Clifford and several nieces and nephews.
Fitz was predeceased by his sister, Ann and brother, Joe Albert.
Fitz joined the Nova Scotia Highlanders Regiment as a high school student, and continued his military career joining the regular forces in 1976 as an Aviation Technician. Postings included Trenton, Edmonton as well as postings to Search and Rescue Squadrons (440, 424 and 413) and Greenwood. He retired in 2002 as a Warrant Officer, and then became a real estate agent. Fitz will be remembered for his sense of humour and his love for poker. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Kingston Legion, Branch 98, Kingston, N.S. on May 2, 2015 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations maybe be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Branch 98 Kingston Legion Memorial Fund.
