RENAULT, OSCAR
Oscar Renault peacefully passed away on March 29 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 91. Born and raised in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Médard Renault and the late Éliane Haché. His wife Dorothy passed away in 2009.
Our Dad was a business man during 25 years, after which he retired at the young age of 48. His passions were many; he enjoyed writing, he spent time at woodworking, he built boats, he had beehives and produced honey, he raised trout, he worked at a huge vegetable garden and especially enjoyed his raspberry bushes. He built a sound system and enjoyed music, photography and devoted much time to reading throughout his life.
Oscar is survived by his 5 children : Pierre ( Dale Williamson) of Campbellton, Pauline (Curt Thomas) of Naples Florida, Bernard (Edna Losier) of Naples Florida, Carmen (Maurice Durepos) of Moncton, Jeanne (Pilar Villalobos) of Moncton, 3 grandchildren Marc of Toronto, Frederic of Vancouver and Mathiew of Moncton, 3 brothers Marc of Montreal, Louis of Texas, Robert of Campbellton, 2 sisters Dina of Saint-Charles Boromée -Québec and Marcelle of Ottawa.
A funeral mass will take place at the Notre-Dame des Neiges church on Monday , April 6 at 2 o'clock. Visitation will take place on Sunday April 5 from 2 o'clock till 4 o'clock and on Monday 2 hours prior to the funeral mass.
Instead of flowers the family suggests you make a donation to the Friends of the Healthcare Foundation – Palliative Care Unit, Restigouche area at P.O. Box 910, 189, Lily Lake Road, Campbellton, NB E3N 3H3
