HÉBERT, AMEDEE J.
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Amedee Joseph Hébert of Saint John, NB which occurred on Thursday, April 02, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Shediac River, NB, he was a son of the late Willie Hébert and Elizabeth (Léger) Hébert.
Amedee was employed at the Port of Saint John with the C.P. Truckers. He loved his card games, playing poker with friends and his Sunday drives to the Casino.
He is survived by special friend Ella Blanchard, several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by special companion Irene Vautour; brother. Edgar Hébert; sisters, Iréne Surette (Patrick), Sara Decraemer (Jerry), and Emerise Surette (René).
Many thanks to Dr Wildish, Dr Willis, the wonderful staff of Palliative Care at the Saint John Regional Hospital and his favorite extramural nurse Liana.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-1965) with visiting on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from St. Ann’s Church at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
For those who wish remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
