MUISE, Gary Joseph “Iggy” – age 72, Rockville, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully after a brief illness with his loving wife at his side on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born May 1, 1942 in Yarmouth, he was a son of Joseph Muise, South Ohio, and the late Mabel (Moulaison) Muise. Gary worked at Dominion Textiles in Yarmouth, after which he became a Personal Care Worker, having worked at Tidal View Manor, Yarmouth. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed woodworking, fishing and golfing. Aside from his father, Joseph, he is survived by his loving wife, Iris (Nickerson) Muise, as well as by his children, Larry Muise, Yarmouth; Soliterre Fells, Dartmouth and Morrell (Sara) Fells, Edmonton; aunt Adele, aunt Doris and uncle Fred. Visitation took place from 7-9 Monday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21 from Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiated. Interment will take place in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Pubnico Head, at a later date. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Donations in Gary’s memory may be made to Fidelis House.
