BLAKE, WILLIAM "BILL"
1941-2015
Tabusintac - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the age of 73, passed away William "Bill" Blake, ex-husband of the late Irma Landry, spouse of Lorraine Savoie. He lived in Tabusintac formerly of Tracadie-Sheila. Born on December 8, 1941, he was the son of the late William Blake and the late Brigitte Allain.
He is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Scott Myles); two grandchildren: Shawn and Ryan; the children of his spouse: Robert Vautour (Huguette), Gilles Vautour and Réal Vautour (Dolores); three sisters: Betty (Vincent Breau), Connie (Ron Caissie) and Susie (Bill Campbell); a godson, Denis Godin; his nieces and nephews: Jason, Shannon, Scott and Gillian, Tania, Debbie, Nancy, Jérôme and Lisa and his grand-nephews and grand-nieces: Owen, Brynn, Summer, Sydney, Brigitte and Gwen and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
He was a proud employee of NBTel for 35 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree. A lover of nature, he was passionate about hunting and fishing.
The family will receive family and friends at 2pm, Thursday, April 23, at the Robichaud Funeral Home & Sons, 3875 Main Street, in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at St-Georges Church in Covedell, Friday, April 24, at 2pm. Visiting hours: Thursday, April 23, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 and Friday, April 24, noon to 2:30.
