At Huronview Home, Clinton, ON, on Sunday, April 26, 2015, Mrs. Dorothy Jean Tamblyn (nee Derby), of Clinton, at the age of 85 years.
Dorothy was born at White Sands, Prince Edward Island, on September 9, 1929. Dorothy married Jack Tamblyn on December 29, 1962 and made their home on his family farm in Hullett Township. They were married for 46 years.
Dorothy is survived by son, Kevin, daughter, Suzanne Montgomery (Grant), brother, William, sister, June Lund (Erroll), sister-in-law, Margaret Chrysler, grandchildren, Derek, Allison and Patrick, and other family and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, siblings, Ralph and Morris, brother-in-law, Robert, and sister-in-law, Connie.
Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, 153 High St., Clinton, ON, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment Blyth Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Parkinson Society of Canada or any charitable donation of your choice.
