1927 – 2015
Collette - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015, at the age of 87, passed away Alexis Doucette, husband of Géraldine Hébert. Born May 9th, 1927, he was the son of late Isidore Doucette and late Hélène Pitre.
He will be sadly missed by his two daughters: Gloria (Laurie Doiron) and Hélène (Claude Daigle); eight sons : Eddie (Rhéa), Rosimond (Charline Caissie), Isidore (Gisèle), Raymond (Dina), Gérald, Richard (Lisa), George (Vanessa) and Edgar (Sarah Caroll); 14 grandchildren and three grandchildren he loved very much; four sisters : Elvina (late Martin Goguen), Florine (Rhéal Caissie), Dorine (James Cameron) and Géraldine (Patrick Arseneau); three brothers : Aldéric (late Amanda), Adélard (late Ozélie) and Oscar (Lilianne), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Alexis was predeceased by one son Alfred (1975); one grandchild (2014) as well as three brothers: Edmond, Guillaume and Richard.
Family will receive relatives and friends at the salon “La Colombe” 11325 Highway 126 in Rogersville, Sunday, May 3rd, 2015 at 2pm,.The funeral service will be held at the Saint-François de Sales RC church in Rogersville, on Monday, May 4th, at 11 am.
Visiting hours: Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm and Monday 9:30 am until the departure for the funeral.
A donation to the Rogersville food bank will be appreciated.
