With sadness and heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother and friend, Christina Gertrude (MacLeod) Walsh, 62, of Sydney, N.S.
Tina passed away peacfully at her home on Sunday, May 3, 2015, surrounded by her family and friends.
She is survivied by her three daughters, Tammy Macleod (Patrick), Robyn Lunn (Chris) and Zandra Williams. Also by seven grandchildren, Sasha, Samantha, Summer, Dante, Morgan, Heaven and Carson; three great-grandchildren; sister, Mamie; brothers, Donald (Brenda), Nelson and Myles. Also lifelong friends, Sadie Stockley and Peter Dubois.
Tina was predeceased by her husband, John Walsh; parents, Burt and Viola Macleod, as well as eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Tina will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, May 7, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Peter MacDonald officiating.
