SHUTE, TONY
It is with great sadness that the family of Tony Shute announce his passing on Thursday, May 7th, 2015 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Tony was born July 20, 1957 at Doaktown to the late Arthur and Etta (Price) Shute.
He was most recently employed as the Chipman High School as a Teacher’s Associate, a position he held for over 28 years. Tony loved his work and was passionate about working with children. He was loved by everyone who knew him, which was evident during his illness by the wonderful outpouring of love he received.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Geordie; Survived by sister Millie (Robert) Munn; Aunt Etta Price; sister-in-law Karen Shute (Polly); several nieces and nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews, and by special great nieces, Taylor and Julie. Tony was thankful to Krista and Tim Lambert, and Margaret Clowater who cared for him in her home over the past couple of months. A special thank-you to Donald and Elaine Porter for their help. Tony will be sadly missed by his family and several friends.
At the request of Tony, a memorial will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 at the Doaktown United Pentecostal Church, 585 Main Street with Brother Carroll officiating.
Donations in Tony’s memorial could be forwarded to the children’s breakfast program at the Chipman Forest Avenue School.
