CORMIER, ALYRE
Alyre Cormier of Auberge Du Soleil Dieppe NB formerly of Memramcook East passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the age of 87. Born on August 23, 1927 in Port Elgin, NB. He was the son of the late Albert Cormier and the late Bella Melanson.
He work for 18 years as a Truck Driver at LaFarge. He was a member of the Club D’Age D’Or de Dieppe, NB.
He will be sadly missed by Beatrice Melanson; six daughters, Sylvia Leger of Dieppe, Rose-Marie Leblanc of Dieppe, Irene (Donald) Leblanc of Dieppe, Diane (Yvon) Harel of Belliveau Village, Suzanne (Serge) Cormier Côté of Bouctouche, Rachelle (Normand) Boudreau of Old Shediac Road; four sons, Leo (Sylvie) Cormier of Riviere Du Loup Quebec, Romeo (Eliza) Cormier of Memramcook East, Gerard (Odette) Cormier of Memramcook East, Bernard (Jeanne) Cormier of Moncton; four sisters, Irene (Late Arthur) Landry of Dieppe, Carmella (Roger) Caissie of Cocagne, Rosia (Normand) Gallant of Moncton, Hectorine (Paul) Gaudet of Old Shediac Road and by 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Rosa Belliveau Cormier and one brother Leonard Cormier.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday, June 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at Notre Dames de Lourdes church on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Palliative Care of Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center or donor choice.
