PETITPAS, ANITA
Anita Petitpas of Villa Providence, Shediac (formerly of Cocagne) passed away at her residence on Saturday June 20, 2015 at the age of 89. Born on February 6, 1926 in Memramcook East, she was the daughter of the late Thomas LeBlanc and Mathilda Melanson.
She was a second cook for Upper Lake Shipping in Toronto until her retirement.
She will be sadly missed by one sister, Eveline (Leo) LeBlanc of Dieppe; one brother, Aurele LeBlanc of Cocagne; two grandchildren, Charline and Geraldine, seven great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank (2000); one son, Arnold; one daughter, Sandra; one sister, Florine and by three brothers, Ulysse, Emile and Emery.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday, June 23 from 2 to 3:30 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Tuesday, June 23 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
In Anita’s memory, donations to the Alzheimer Society or a memorial of donor’s choice would be appreciated.
