Penney, Myrtle Wilhelmina “Mina”:
Peacefully, with her family by her side on June 22nd, 2015 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Hayward Penney. Loving Mom of Inez Brown, the late Vivian Roberts, Loretta (Derrick) Snow, Dale (Thomas) Oliver and John (Carol-Ann White). Dear Nana to eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her special companion Syd, brother Freeman (Hilda) Murrin, sister-in-laws Bess Hann, Jean Murrin, Jane Clark and Linda Murrin and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Selina Murrin and brothers Tye (Shirley), Lyle, Joe, and Steve and sisters Vivian and Gladys. Special thank you to the staff of the ICU at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Wednesday, June 24 from 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, June 25 at 11am. Cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
