DUNNETT, SADIE
The death of Sadie Mary Dunnett widow of David Dunnett (June 2002) of the Kenneth E. Spencer Nursing Home and formerly of Sillikers, NB, occurred at her residence on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the age of 95. Born in Sillikers, NB, Sadie was the daughter of the late David and Maggie (MacDonald) Matchett.
Sadie enjoyment in life was her family and her hobbies that were cooking, knitting, sewing and making quilts for her family. Sadie was a homemaker, life member of St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, Sunny Corner, NB.
Sadie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and will be sadly missed by her sons: Henry (Linda) and Emery (Anne Marie) and five grandchildren: Susan (Don), Karen (Tim), Roderick (Lorella), Colin (Amanda) and Angela (Gary); ten great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Jessica, Amanda, Ethan MacKayla, MacKenzie, Emma, Abigail, Braydon and Bailey also several nieces and nephews.
Sadie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Sadie is predeceased by six sisters: Mary, Hattie, Jenny, Anna, Carrie and Henrietta; one brother: David and great grandson Caleb.
Visitation was held at Meadows Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, Sunny Corner, NB today Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11 AM with Rev. Keith Cushman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Boom Road, NB.
In Sadie’s memory a donation may be made to St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Cemetery Fund, Boom Road, NB
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Meadows Funeral Home, 150 Northwest Road, Sunny Corner, NB Telephone 622-3600.
